In the meantime, we've also answered some of commonly asked international application questions right here:
What are the first steps involved in applying?
- Fill out an application.
- Plan for how you will finance your education.
We have a payment-plan option available to help those students who cannot pay the full charges for tuition at the start of the semester. Under the payment plan, students agree to pay tuition and fees in installments over the semester.
You can select the payment plan that best fits your financial needs here.
To find out more about these options, please contact our business office Monday-Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm EST at 1-888-596-5964 or email them now.
How do I translate my transcripts?
- All of your official records and test scores should be submitted to the Jack Welch Management Institute in a sealed envelope directly from your home educational institution. Assuming your transcripts are from a country other than the United States, you'll also need to have them translated. Again, our admissions advisers are happy to help with that process.
- We recommend that you use an organization approved by The National Association of Credential Evaluation Services for translations, such as www.naces.org or www.ets.org.
- The English translations should include information such as the names of courses included, grades earned (on a 4.00 scale), credits awarded per course, and the cumulative GPA, degree earned, and documentation of graduation. If the institution which you are transferring from is considered a medium - English speaking institution, this information should also be included in the translation.
- Transcripts can be sent to:
The Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University
Attn: Admissions
2303 Dulles Station Blvd.
Herndon, VA 20171
What if English is not my primary language?

If you have a first language other than English, we ask that you submit your TOEFL scores. For more information, please visit www.ETS.org.
There are a few exceptions:
- If you have previously completed any degree at a US school (AA, AS, BA, BS, MS, Phd, etc.) you will not be required to submit documentation of English proficiency.
- If you are able to document that your previous institution is a medium-English speaking institution, you will not need to submit documentation of English proficiency.
